Oriole ready to brave the seas!

Day 3 of being stormbound onboard Oriole. Today was maybe the wettest and wildest of the 3. However we didn’t let it dampen our spirits. This morning we celebrated a fine scottish win in the rugby by following it up with a lesson on anchoring, a tea break and then we tried to venture outside for some knot practice but the weather forced us back inside quite quickly. Knots practised and discussed we had some lunch before the crew took the local bus to visit the distillery. The first day it wasn’t fully booked for us. They left at 1300 and returned at 1900 and I’m pretty sure the tour is not that long and the only other place to go in tarbert is the hotel bar so I can only guess they enjoyed their afternoon. A passage brief by Tom for tomorrow gave us a good overview of our passage and we then sat down to dinner. Lunch and dinner for tomorrow is prepped, so all we need know is for the wind to die down a little and allow us to venture out into the ocean.
