Marine electrical training
Boat Electrical Course
03 May 2020 (£149)
13 September 2020 (£149)
Course overview
Electrical systems can seem like a dark art, but 12v and 24v DC systems are really very straight forward and you should fairly easily be able to diagnose and fix most problems. In this one day course, we give you the skills and confidence to start understanding and fixing the electrical systems on your boat.
Some theory – lots of practical
There is no point in learning too much electrical theory at this stage, as you’re simply not going to use it. Instead, we give you the three or four key bits of understanding and then we’re straight into the practical. We will build a boat’s electrical system right there on the tables in front of us, because when you can build it, you understand it and when you understand it, you can diagnose faults in it. This is a fun, hands on, highly educational course suitable for everyone.
