The only non Clipper 60 in the Rubicon 3 fleet, Oriole is a Bowman 57, one of the great ocean cruising yacht designs. She is the easiest boat in the fleet to sail, with roller furler sails and a big cruising-style cockpit. Her big saloon is famous amongst everyone who has sailed with Rubicon 3 (there have been some pretty special nights in there in Spitsbergen and beyond!) and her ability to soak up rough sea on longer voyages is legendary. She carries a massive 1000 litres of water and 2 tonnes of fuel. A true go anywhere, anytime expedition yacht.

Where is Oriole?

Using Iridium satellite trackers, Rubicon 3 yachts transmit their position every 4-12 hours from anywhere in the world. There are occasionally some IT problems with the trackers on certain mobile devices. If you cannot see it
